Investiture
PA Wellington The Governor-General (Sir David Beattie) invested 16 people with honours yesterday in a short ceremony at Government House. Most of the honours were announced in the New Year Honours but the recipients were unable to attend an investiture earlier this year. Honours announced in the Queen’s Birthday Honours were presented by the Queen in person during the Royal tour.
