Lyndon Robert too good
Lyndon Robert, trained by Robert Dunn for Kaputon’e Lodge led throughout the Springtime Stakes at Addington Raceway on Saturday. He was not seriously tested to win by two lengths and a quarter from Logan’s Byrd, another by Nardin’s Byrd with the favourite Tempo Cavallo making ground for third, shading Borana.
Lyndon Robert is a gelding by Nardin’s Byrd, from Eastwood Estelle by Armbro Del from Red Rose, a mare which accompanied Sam Ballantyne when he came to New Zealand and established Eastwood Lodge Stud. Prebbleton.
