Half refund of tickets
PA Hamilton Half the cost of the cancelled Waikato-Springbok match tickets is to be refunded by the New Zealand Rugby Union, according to rugby sources. Advertisements announcing this are to be published today in Auckland, Hamilton
and Wellington newspapers. Whether refunds would be made to the capacity crowd at Hamilton’s Rugby Park has been a hot issue since the July 25 match was cancelled on police advice. Half the value of the tickets will be retained to meet the cost of staging the fixture.
