Lillee suspended two matches
NZPA Melbourne An Australian Cricket Board official, Bob Merriman, decided early this morning (N.Z. time) to suspend Denis Lillee for two one-day matches. The suspension was for two matches —- covering Sunday’s clash with Pakistan at the M.C.G. and Tuuesday’s match against the West Indies in Sydney. . Lillee had been fined SA2OO by his teammates after his clash with Pakistan’s Javed Miandad in the first test in Perth. Mr Merriman quashed the fine.
