Caught at court
It was a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire for three men who alighted from a car in Armagh Street yesterday morning and went into the District Court. A member of the public, who thought that the men looked suspicious, telephoned the police and reported their descriptions and the registration number of the car. A computer check showed
the car to have been stolen and a police patrol was sent to await the emergence of the three from the court, where one had appeared on a charge. The police waited until the men got back into the car, and promptly arrested them. The three will be in the court again, this time charged with the unlawful taking of the car which got them there yesterday.
