Climbers fail to report
A West German couple who went climbing in the Mount Cook National Park - had still not been in touch with the Twizel police last evening. Peter Kemper and .. Susanne Rossler had indi- . cated that they would return from the west side of the Hooker Glacier on Monday but had not reported their return by last evening. The area the couple had been climbing in was checked yesterday but there was no sign of them. Both the Twizel police and the chief ranger at Mount Cook National Park headquarters. Mr H. A. Youngntan. have said-that .there is no reason to believe the climbers are lost.
