Wattie expands
VVattie Industries, Ltd, and Mauri Brothers and Thomson, Ltd, Sydney, jointly announce that subject to the approval of the Examiner of Commercial Practices the Cropper-NRM division of Wattie has agreed to purchase for cash all the shares in Mauri Bros and Thomson (N.Z.), Ltd. Settlement will take place on January 31. The New Zealand opera-
tions include the Mauri-DYC Foods, Mauri Engineering, and Mauri Food Ingredients divisions, and they will continue to operate under the same name, management and responsibility as previously. The sale does not include Dominion Seal Company, Ltd, Swift Consolidated (N.Z.), Ltd, and its subsididaries.
