The Manufacturing Department provides assembly tooling industrial engineering and technical services to the plant which assembles a wide range of passenger and commercial vehicles. Initially the successfuul appointee will undergo a short programme of company familiarisation and will then undertake training within the Manufacturing Engineering Department under the guidance of experienced engineers before being assigned to a particular position in the department. As the work of this area involves liaison with all departments within the plant applicants should have average communications skills and be able to work well with other people. This is an excellent opportunity for a person wishing to make a career in the motor industry in New Zealand.
