INTERRUPTION TO SUPPLY: KAIKOURA, CHEVIOT and HURUNUI COUNTIES CONSUMERS in the following areas are advised that weather permitting the electric POWER will be CUT OFF on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1981 (if wet, Thursday,-November 26, 1981), from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., to enable maintenance to be carried out on the 33,000 volt transmission line between Waipara and Kaikoura. , The areas affected will be:— The WHOLE of the Cheviot and Kaikoura Countries; part of the Hurunui County north of Waipara covering Glenmark Drive, Omihi Valley, Motunau, Greta, Blythe Valley and Stonyhurst. All electric lines are to be treated as being alive during the interruption as power will be restored without further notice as soon as the work is completed. D. W.
