Mr K. W. J. Deal, the manager of the A.M.P. Society in New Zealand, who will retire at the end of the year. Mr Deal has been manager of the society for the. last seven years, and was the first New Zealander appointed to that position. He has been with the society all his working life, and is a classic case of “the office boy who worked his way to the top.” He was born in Balclutha, and joined the A.M.P. in Wellington in 1940.
