Federation members set high standards
The aim of the Master Cycle Traders’ Federation is to protect members’ own businesses by ensuring that customers are well looked after. This aim is carried out through the federation’s professional approach to the cycle trading business. To qualify for membership of the federation, certain requirements have to be met, and every member is knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to the selling
and servicing of cycles. No matter what the customer’s age or size, federation members can help with cycle selection. Cycles in a variety of sizes and styles ensure that every age group is catered for, and federation members keep all the leading cycle brands constantly in stock. Today, the mulit-gear cycle is in great demand and most federation members expect that its popularity will last for many years.
In the 1950 s the Sports Roadster, with three gears, was the most popular seller until the Raleigh 20 became available. From this time on, the range of cycles available has grown significantly. There has been a change in buying trends, too. Once it was parents buying cycles for children to ride to school, but older customers are now buying for their own use and teenagers, in particular, are starting to buy their own.
