At least 30 fours will receive prizes, the first prize being two Philips car stereos and two Philips radio cassettes.
A nearest to the pin prize on the seventeenth hole on the old course has been donated by Mt Cook Line. The winner will receive two return tickets to Mt Cook. Prizes for the longest drive in each round have been donated by Sherris and Robertson, Ltd, and P.G.F. has donated a golf bag for the winner of the putting competition. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will be used to supply the Department of Nephrology with a set of electronic bed and chair scales and to provide the Low' Vision Care Clinic with a Viewscan portable electronic reading aid.
