Robbery charge
A man who was charged with aggravated robbery at Mangere on June 11 has appeared in the District Court at Lower Hutt.
Craig Joseph Carter, aged 18. a machine operator, of Wainuiomata, was jointly charged with Kim ■ Martin Glover and Phillip Dean Taylor. The indictable charge was robbing Narshi Manga of more than $lOOO while being armed with an offensive weapon, a double-barrelled shotgun. Carter was also charged with a breach of probation. Sergeant Andrew Webb said Carter was appearing on a very serious charge and asked for a remand without plea in custody. The remand was to the District Court at Otahuhu on November 18.
Judge Graham granted the remand, in custody.
