Fatal shock
PA Auckland A man was killed when he touched fallen power lines on a bush track at Cornwallis, near Auckland, yesterday. He was
Brian Paul Overington, aged 20, of Auckland.
He had been swimming with two friends at Cornwallis, 31 kilometres south-west of Auckland city, early in the afternoon. High winds had sprung up and the group -had taken shelter in a shed. Mr Overington had walked along a bush track. His friends heard a scream and found him near 250-volt lines which had been blown down.
Attempts were made to revive him.
