Watties stays in market
The directors of Wattie Industries, Ltd, say that they have instructed Auckland brokers Buttle Wilson and Co. to continue to stand ’in market for Goodman Group, Ltd, ordinary shares and rights to the cash issue to enable them to purchase their outstanding requirement.
They did not give a figure for the number of shares still to be bought. Watties say that based on the $2.50 cum interim dividend and cash issue price the adjusted offer price will be $2.32 for the ordinary shares and 79 cents for each right.
It is understood that the shares will be traded ex dividend and issue from November 12 and that rights trading will commence on November 13.
