Teachers’ College cuts
Sir.—Mr Wellington has slashed the quota to teachers' colleges. Does he not have access to population predictions? For the entire term of his office, population stabilisation has predicted the lowering of school rolls. Why the sudden slash? Why was not the decrease in quotas phased in over the last six years?
