Mixed N.Z. sharemarket
Share prices remained mixed in moderately active trading on New Zeland stock exchanges yesterday. Independent Newspapers, L. D. Nathan, R. and W. Hellaby, and U.E.B. all firmed on good results. In spite of this the over-all market trend was easier. The ANZ Banking Group, Feltex, and Wattie eased 5c each, and the biggest decline of the day was 15c by New Zealand Motor Bodies. Fisher and Paykel gained 13c to 340 c on an excellent result.
