Liaison officer
NZPA Perpignan A new French Rugby Federation liaison officer has joined the All Blacks as part of efforts to smooth the final 12 days of their tour through France. , The officer, Jean Gabriel, will officially take over from the federation’s present man, Jacques Fel, when the All Blacks leave for Toulouse tomorrow — the reason for the change officially being explained as tiredness on the part of Mr Fel. But unofficially the All Blacks have been dissatisfied with Mr Fel, who was also with the 1977 New Zealand team for only part of their tour before parting company. Mr Fel has been unable to gain action on a list of All Black grievances ranging from travel arrangements to training facilities.
