REGISTRATION OF INTEREST NORTH CANTERBURY HOSPITAL BOARD THE PRINCESS MARGARET HOSPITAL REGISTRATION of interest is invited from contractors for the construction of a new boilerhouse and associated civil engineering works at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Christchurch. The boilerhouse Is a single storey building approximately 300 sq. metres in area with a steel frame and brick and asbestos cement cladding. Also included in the work are an excavated and fenced storage tank compound approximately 22m x 20m x 1.5 m deep, underground service ducts and drainage. All mechanical and electrical work will be carried out under a separate contract. It Is expected that tenders based on preliminary drawings and a provisional schedule of quantities will be called on November 12, 1981 and will close November 20. Subject to the Contract being awarded by December 4. 1981 the works are required to be completed ready for mechanical and electrical Installation by March 26, 1982.
