Madrid feminist held
The Spanish police have accused a prominent. Madrid feminist of hiding weapons and providing intelligence and hide-outs for Basque separatist guerrillas. Jimena Alonso Matthias and seven other people, including her daughter and a Madrid university professor have been remanded in custody after being held incomunicado under the anti-terrorist law. Eight pistols, two sub-machine-guns and five handgrenades were found buried in her country estate, the police said.—Madrid.
