Letters recovered
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has recovered 19 priceless letters written by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte which were stolen from a French museum in the mid-19705. The letters were found about six months ago but were authenticated only recently, the F. 8.1. said. The Americans who had bought the letters, stolen from the French Army Museum in Vincennes, were not involved in the theft and had co-operated with the authorities, it said. No arrests would be made in the United States over the theft, but at least one person would be charged by the French ' authorities.—Chicago.
