26 Cup acceptors
NZPA Melbourne Twenty-six horses re-j mained in next Tuesday’s $310,000 Melbourne Cup at Flemington after third acceptances closed yesterday morning.
Thd only surprise omissioi from the field was Moonet Valley Cup winner, Saxoi Slew, which was found to lame at his Epsom stabt yesterday. Twenty-four horses cai run in the Melbourne Ctp. Final acceptances and tie barrier draw for the Cup wll be made tomorrow nijht after the Derby Day meetng at Flemington.
Horses left in the race in weight order, are:—Kington.. Town 60.5; Hyperno 58; Our Paddy Boy 57; Belmura Lal 55; Koiro Trelay 54.5; Arwon 54;Just A Dash 53.5; Mr Cromwell s’; El Laurena 52; Bright Halo, Jeck the Halls, No Peer 51; Anaas, Find the Gold, Gatcombe >0.5; Lord Warden, Pelican Point 50; Magistrate, Red Gun. Ssol, Waideene 49.5; Flashing Light 49; Cocked Hat 48; Dealer's Ch'ice 47.5; Diatric 46.5; Favoloso 4i.
