‘Garden paradise’
Sir,—Any tree planting must be beneficial and it is nice to grace the pages of Japanese photograph albums. However, I trust that Mr Quigley will concentrate on the planting of fruit and nut crop bearing trees in his beautification scheme, so that New Zealand can make a worthwhile contribution in the world’s growing battle against hunger.—Yours, etc.,
