Building to cost $2.5M
Work will begin in the New Year on a $2.5 million, six-storey retail and office building at the corner of Kilmore Street and Durham Street, shown above in an artist’s sketch. The building will be the fourth stage of development in the area by Williams Property Develop-
ments Canterbury. Ltd. The company has already completed Kent House for Radio New Zealand. Chancery House for the Justice Department. and Winchester House for the Statistics Department. A name for the new building had not yet
been decided on. said Mr Paul Williams yesterday. The building will include about 3000 sq m of office space and about 600 sq m of retail space on the ground floor, which could divide into two or three shops. Thirty car-parks will be provided.
