PA Wellington The Chief Ombudsman (Mr G. R. Laking) does not intend to make a general inquiry at this stage into police conduct during the Springbok rugby tour.
He said yesterday that he would investigate a number of complaints against the police, but those not first referred to police authorities for internal investigation had been passed on.
