A male black swan that landed in the middle of the early-morning traffic in Manchester Street on Tuesday morning, is released by Linda Baggstrom, aged 19, at the Bromley ponds Yesterday. Mr Baggstrom, a director of the Avain Welfare Project said the bird's wings were very badly bruised after a fight and it was suffering from severe exhaustion. He said that after it landed in the road it crewled into a driveway from where it was recovered by the project's voluntary workers.
