Gift trophies stolen
PA Auckland The police are investigating a burglary at the Auckland Football Associations headquarters at Newmarket Park during the week-end. Several gifts from touring teams were taken as well as four major trophies, five smaller ones, $5OO in cash, cameras and radios which were prizes for a lottery, and two bottles of whisky. < Two . of the tourists trophies taken were presented :to the Auckland association by the English . first-division soccer clubs Manchester United and Sunderland.
