Question: When is a Mirage not a Mirage? Answer: When it’s a Panther.
The Panther, with its all-black-paint work and yellowred spectrum blazed down each side, is an attention grabber. Based on the sports model three-door Mirage GLS, the Panther has the very quick 59kW 1.4 litre OHC engine and super shift transmission, giving the driver the choice of eight gears. Luxury interior trim uses all-wool cloth and the front seats are fitted with head restraints finished in the same material.
Apart from the brightwork around the windows, the name badges, the colour
blaze, and the rims of the alloy wheels, the whole of the exterior finish is black.
The Mirage Panther will sell for $11,623.
