Sir,—What an unholy mess this Government has z made of combining Air New Zealand with the National Airways Corporation. It appears that after having a first-class air carrier, we now have a carrier riddled with discontent, mismanagement and too top heavy. The seeds are sown for a national disaster. The answer is to cut out dead wood and bring back the confidence the public needs. This applies equally to the present Government. — Yours, etc., W. FOOT. October 24, 1981.
