Koornhof niece held
The South African security police have said they are holding a Cabinet Minister’s niece under the Terrorism Act — which allows for indefinite detention without trial' She is Henchen Koornhof, aged 26, a teacher, who was detained 2 weeks ago. Her uncle is the Cooperation and Development' (Black Affairs) Minister (Dr Piet Koornhof). Her detention followed the arrest of a former student leader, Cedric de Beer, with whom she shared a house in Johannesburg. — Johannesburg.
