N.Z. ski champions

PA New Plymouth The 1981 New Zealand ski championships have been decided on Mt Ruapehu. With only two races held, the titles went to Fiona Johnson, of the Porter Heights Ski Club, Canterbury, and Marcus Hubrich, of the Aorangi Ski Club. Bad weather prevented the downhill races being held. The Reizenstein Ski Scholarships this year went to Simon Wi Rutene, of Rotorua, and Maurice Brown, of Queenstown.
