The actress, Lisa Harrow, is one of New Zealand's most successful artists overseas. She is a star of the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford and has appeared in many television plays. Young local musicians of outstanding talent are in a series of four programmes starting on Concert at 7.00 tonight. The young artists featured in this first pro-
gramme are clarinettist Peter Adams and pianist Terence Dennis. They play soliloquy by the young Christchurch composer Helen Mountfort, who has already won prizes with her compositions, and then the Premier Rhapsody by Debussy. Jazz drummer Frank Gibson, New Zealand’s top jazz drummer, has been backing jazz groups overseas for some time. Now back in this country he leads his own jazz group in a selection of his own compositions for a programme in the current “Jazz New Zealand” series on the Concert Programme beginning at 8.00 tonight. C. panel game "Many a Slip” features Gillian Reynolds, Lance Percival, Eleanor Summerfield and Tim Rice. A newcomer, Lance Percival, became a household name in the 19605, in a series of TV shows, called “That Was the Week That Was.” The aim of the game is still for the contestants to spot the chairman’s deliberate mistakes to gain marks, but the entertainment and information are different. Only in "Many A Slip." for instance, can you learn with absolute certainty that a butterfly was originally known as a “flutterby”!
