Midland buses to stop
Midland Coachlines. Ltd. buses will be out of service for about two hours from 10.30 a.m. today while drivers attend a stop-work meeting.
The president of the Canterbury Drivers' Union. Mr L. G. Blackler. said that the meeting would discuss general business, probably including the take-over of Midland by Ceramco.
The coach drivers' award provides for two paid stopwork meetings a year, but today's is an extra stop-work meeting.
