N.Z. actor to star
The New Zealand actor, Sam Neill, will star in a twohour television film version of “Ivanhoe,” the “Daily Express" has reported.
Neill, who achieved stardom in the Australian film, “My Brilliant Career,” recently completed a role as the son of Satan in “The Final Conflict,” a sequel to “The Omen.” He won the role in “Conflict” on the recommendation of the veteran British star, James Mason, who wrote unsolicited letters of recommendation to a number of film producers after spotting Neill in “My Brilliant Career,” the “Express" said.
