An experience

Sir,—Sister Colleen Mcßride (“The Press,” September 1) is suffering from rhapsody of the depths — of ignorance. The Marxist influence in the Church today has blinded its adherents to the fact that communism thrives on any form of dissension, regardless of the rights of either party. In that dissension, this ideology sees the golden opportunity to step in and take over, the proof of

this being the number of countries under Soviet domination. How difficult for those such as Poland to become disentangled. I wrote cards to African prisoners years ago, and a paper placed in a shopping mall against torture gained two or three signatures. Why the sudden interest now?
