Women killed
Four young women have been trampled to death after a tear-gas bomb exploded in a crowded nightclub in a Rio suburb. Several hundred young people attending a dance at the Independente Club in Duque de Caxias scrambled for the doors and windows when the bomb went off in the early hours of the morning: The police said at least a dozen people were injured in the panic, three of them seriously.—Rio de Janeiro.
