Welding convention
Welding will be the theme of a .five-day convention to be held in Christchurch in October.
Specialists from Britain, the United States. Japan, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand will present 20 technical papers. Among the subjects to be discussed will be the welding of pipelines and off-shore structures, stainless-steel welding, underwater welding, and the non-destructive testing of pipelines. The convention is being organised by . the Australian and New Zealand Institutes of Welding. „
