Free dance gold medal
The first gold free dance medal to be awarded in New Zealand ice. skating has been won by the Christchurch brother and sister combination of Alan Brennock and Ann Brennock-Tranter.
Last year the pair won the gold dance medal and their accomplishment in adding the free dance medal means that they have attained the highest level in their field of skating.
The couple performed their, routine to the satisfaction of the three judges. Mr Dick Disney (Auckland), and Mesdames Rona Whitehouse and Pam Hewinson (both Christchurch).
