PA Gisborne Poverty Bay narrowly beat neighbours East Coast 12-10 in a representative match at Gisborne yesterday. It was left to the Bay forwards to control the game. They enjoyed a large possession advan-
! tage w'hich was wasted in the backs. The spirited East Coast team dispelled the clouds of big defeats so far this season as they spoiled the Poverty Bay moves and launched counter attacks from seemingly impossible positions.
