Rangiora youth dies
A Rangiora youth died when his car left State highway 72 near Woodend and hit a power pole early on Saturday morning. He was Kent Douglas Hawkins, aged 17, of 2 Rata Street, Rangiora. No-one else was in the car. The accident happened at 12.20 aim.
