Mellseur in retirement
By J. J. BOYLE Mellseur was sore after the Winter Cup on Saturday and has finished racing. She won 17 races and over $105,000 for Messrs F. C. Anscombe and E. J. Smart from the Wingatui stable ol H. T. Anderton. Her richest win was in the Wellington Racing Club’s Chardon Mile last year. Earlier that season she won the Thames Valley Stakes.
Mellseur is booked to Noble Bijou.
