Chch retains shield
Christchurch retained the Andrew and Faulkner Shield in a representative smallbore shooting contest in Gore at the week-end. Christchurch looked vulnerable when its first two shooters dropped four points, but the other eight dropped just one point for a team total of 995.76 and a six-point lead over Ashburton at the half-way. Christchurch’s secondround score of 993.80 put it beyond reach of Otago which was runner-up. The top
