A regular meeting of the Flight Stewards’ Association in Svdnev this week decided to ' accept Commissioner Paine's decision that. Brian Carrad not be reinstated. The association's general secretary. Mr Warren Smith.
said: “The matter hai been thrown back to the mqnber himself. He can take the; matter to appeal if he de-: sires, but there will beno industrial action by the g>neral membership. . t ; “The issue was debated about 45 minutes at thi meeting and we ’believe the commissioner's decision was the right one.” Mr Smith said the second flight, steward involved in the suspension. Mr Rene Herbert. was back at work.
