Intersection work ‘will not give desired result’

Local ■ - residents oppose alterations now being carried out tO' the intersection of Greers Road and Grahams Road. The Waimairi County Council has received a petition from a number of residents asking that the road works at the intersection be stopped. He was confident that the council had “done the right thing.’ 1 The council decided to arrange a meeting -with residents who had signed the petition. However, the County Chairman, Mr D. B. Rich, said that councillors and staff had already spent a lot of time explaining the alterations to residents and the council had not failed to, supply them.with information. ■■ • ) •
