Mourie fit to lead N.Z.
PA - New Plymouth The All Black captain, Graham Mourie, who left the field while playing for Taranaki against Wanganui on Monday, will be fit to lead New Zealand against Scotland in the first rugby test on June 13. Mourie was concussed in the first half against Wanganui and left the field at half-time. ’ - “I lost about 20 minutes, but it was not’ too bad,” Mourie said' from his Opunake farm yesterday. He
will not, however, play any club rugby this Saturday as a precautionary measure. “I wasn’t knocked out, but was fairly dazed and they say it is best to rest these things for a bit.” Mourie is looking forward to resuming his role as All Black captain after last leading New Zealand to its crushing win over Wales: “It would be nice to continue in that fashion against Scotland, but we will just have to wait and see,” he said.
