Two drown, one missing
PA Invercargill A man was drowned after he was washed overboard from his fishing boat at Riverton on Friday. He was lan William Todd, of Lorneville.
The accident happened when the fishing boat was just off Howells Point, near Riverton. A man died while skindiving at Wellington on Saturday. He was Kevin Bank, aged 30, a .Public Service chauffeur, of , Upper Hutt.
A five-hour search by hovercraft, Coast Guard vessels, and a helicopter yesterday failed to find a fisherman on Manukau Harbour.
Mr Mickey Lolesi, aged 45, of Manurewa, was fishing with his son when their 2.5 m dinghy foundered about noon. The boy swam to shore to raise the alarm.
