Feed poisoned then stolen

Animals might be killed by a load of horse feed which has been stolen from a garage in Sparks Road, the police warned last evening. The woman who owned the container of feed had intended to burn it. Instead, seeing that the container was infested with vermin, she had seeded the feed with rat poison, said a police spokesman last evening. The woman did not know that the poisoned feed was missing until she visited the garage yesterday. It could have been stolen any time during the last month, she told the police. The police were trying to

trace the poisoned feed, and would be glad to receive even an anonymous call to the Central Police Station, the spokesman said.
