APPLICATIONS are invited for the post of Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Medicine in the University of Papua New Guinea. Candidates ’ should have high academic qualifications in medicine and adequate experience in teaching and research. Previous experience in practising medicine in a developing country is highly desirable. He will be expected to undertake patient care rnd will be Honorary Consultant Physician at the Goroka Base Hospital, Goroka, or Port Moresby Hospital. SALARYLECTURER GRADE I: K 14.195 per annum plus gratuity. LECTURER GRADE II: K 16.045 per annum plus gratuity. SENIOR LECTURER: KI 7,895 per annum plus gratuity. Medical graduates have to supply evidence of their qualifications and status for registration by the Papua New Guinea Medical Board. Details will be sent on application. The successful applicant will be offered a contract for a three-year appointment.
