14,000 at furniture show
An estimated 14.000 people have visited the CanterburyFurniture Show since it opened to the public on Wednesday. t The president of the Canterbury Furniture Manufacturers’ Federation, Mr M. W. Richardson, said that the show had been as i successful as any in the past Exhibitors were particularly pleased with, the response from North Island retailers
. The show, held at the Christchurch Town Hall, win finish at '9. p.m. today. M r Richardson is confident that the record ofl7;000 visitors .at last year’s show will be broken.
