Farmers’ costs
Sir,—On May 14, F. A. Bull (Jun.) was reported as saying that he considered that the major part of our inflation is internal — excessive mark-ups, wages out of all proportion to productivity, redundancy pay- ; ments, blatant abuse of the | welfare system, a top heavy Public Service, etc., to which I S commented (May 16) that perhaps the present Govern- ■£’ ment was to blame. F. A. Bull (Jun.) now (May 25) accuses me F of feeding him a red herring, & and of having a vivid imagination. Perhaps he would now like to explain to us all, who we can lay the blame upon, for the problems he originally outlined?—Yours. etc.. J. OVERTON. May 25, 1981.
